We need common-sense gun safety:

 

• Protect ownership of weapons designed for hunting and or personal protection
• Ban equipment that modifies legal weapons to perform in restricted manners
• Ban private ownership of weapons designed for war
• Raise the minimum age for gun purchases to 21
• Universal background checks for all gun transfers with waiting periods
• No arming of teachers, increase of school counselor funding

In 2018 and 2020 Lowell was endorsed by Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and LEAP FORWARD.
